Question by pathy z: why when during the formation of a cloud warm water works the best out of hot and cold water!!?
well im doing a project called “cloud in a bottle” where u put cold , hot and warm water in 3 different bottles and you light a match and hold it over the mouth of each bottle and then u dropp it and close the bottle and then u squeeze it and a kind of cloud appears.WELL i alreday did the project and it came out that the cloud appears the best and most of the time when using warm water. So people my question is actually why is it that warm water works the best out of cold and hot water when trying to form a cloud!!!! I NEED HELP PEOPLE SO HELP ME .. IS REALLY IMPORTANT OR I MIGHT DIE:] SO THINK OF ME AND HELP ME OR IT WOULD BE UR FAULT IF I DIE!!! PLEASE ALL YOU SMARTICLE PARTICLES OF PEOPLE BE KIND TO STUPID PEOPLE LIKE ME JK THANKS PEOPLE!!!

Haha, well I can see that you are quite desperate. I am not sure why a match falling into a bottle with warm water would create a better cloud than either cold water or hot water, but I do know how REAL clouds form.
Water needs to be able to evaporate in order to become a cloud, and the hotter the water is, the more water will escape into the air as water vapor, which then forms the cloud. But, I cannot explain why the hot water bottle in your experiment didn’t form a cloud. In fact, your experiment does not really represent how clouds are formed naturally. But generally, the hotter the water is to begin with, the more water vapor will rise up into the air to form a cloud. Hope that helps a little.
